Chiara Sepin živi in dela na Padričah. Diplomirala je na Mednarodni grafični šoli v Benetkah in je danes samozaposlena kot grafična oblikovalka v družinskem studiu PiKa. Ko ji čas dopušča, se posveča tudi ilustriranju. Že več kot desetletje sodeluje z revijo Galeb in Galebovim šolskim dnevnikom. Je »mamica« Škrobka in vseh dogodivščin malega kuharja, ki rad skrbi za zdravo prehrano.
